DETAILS: The 4th annual Relay For Life of San Juan Capistrano will take place at the San Juan Capistrano Sports Park on Saturday, July 28 at 10 a.m. until Sunday, July 29. The Relay is a 24 hour event put on by the American Cancer Society designed to celebrate survivorship, raise money for cancer research, and educate the public. In 2004, the Relay raised over $20,000 with 8 teams. By 2006, the event grew to over 20 teams and raised over $100,000. This year they expect an even larger turnout, and have set a goal of 40 teams.
