Local Officials

The City Manager’s Department is responsible for the daily management of City government. It is the department's responsibility to guide and direct the other City departments in implementing the goals and objectives of the City Council. The City Manager’s Department also oversees the planning and funding of City projects as well as directing and implementing in the Redevelopment process.

At a time of severe financial constraints on school districts statewide, our instructional and support staffs in Capistrano Unified remain committed to delivering the best education possible for your children. Their goal of educational excellence is reflected in our mission to ensure that children learn, that children learn more today than yesterday, and that they learn more tomorrow than today. The City of San Juan Capistrano contracts with the Orange County Sheriff's Department to provide on-site and localized Police Services. Annually, many dollars are budgeted to insure the community's low crime rate and excellent safety record are maintained
